On April 22, Work Safety Experts of Foreign Enterprises in China Committee of National Academy of Safety Science and Engineering (NASSE) was established and a symposium was held in Shanghai.
US-China Energy Cooperation Program (ECP) was invited to participate in and support the preparatory work for Work Safety Experts of Foreign Enterprises in China Committee, and recommended the active participation of U.S. companies. Representatives from ConocoPhillips, Baker Hughes, Joy Global and OSHKOSH were selected as the first batch of members of the management committee. They will give full play to their resource advantages, examine the situation of China’s work safety from an international perspective and promote China’s work safety governance capacity to a higher level.
