2023年3月17日-18日,第七届碳捕集利用与封存国际论坛在北京成功召开。作为年度CCUS行业国内盛会,论坛受到了国家科技部、工信部、自然资源部、生态环境部、国资委和国家能源局的大力支持,来自全球10多个国家的能源界、科技界近600位政府官员、企业高管、专家学者与会,论坛采取线上线下相结合的方式进行,由中国网进行全程中英文全球直播。
March 17-18, 2023, the 7th International Forum on Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) was successfully held in Beijing. As a CCUS intrustry annual event, the forum was received strong support from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE), the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASA), and the National Energy Administration (NEA). The forum attracted nearly 600 attendees, including senior government officials, business executives, experts and scholars from more than 10 countries in the energy sector, and science and technology sector. The forum was conducted in a hybrid format, offline in Beijing PetroChina Science and Technology Exchange Center, and live stream globally in Chinese and English.
受会议组织方邀请,ECP很早便参与了整个会议的国际演讲嘉宾和国际参会嘉宾的推荐、邀请、落实工作。ECP协助邀请了埃克森美孚、康菲石油、沙特阿美、挪威艾奎诺、贝克休斯、艾斯本技术、豪顿、必维集团等国际能源公司参会,其中几家公司就国际能源企业低碳转型经验和CCUS国际前沿技术做了分享。
Invited by the meeting organizer, ECP supported this forum at very early planning stage and helped recommend, invite and coordinate international speakers and participants. ECP helped to invite the international energy companies such as ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Saudi Aramco, Equinor, Baker Hughes, AspenTech, Howden, and Bureau Veritas etc. Several of these companies shared their insights and experiences on the low carbon transition, and shared the latest cutting-edge CCUS technologies.
本届论坛主题为“CCUS低碳向未来”,论坛为期两天,内容丰富,采取主题报告、特邀报告、圆桌论坛、分论坛等多种形式。两院院士、能源企业界、国际组织、科研机构和高等院校的20余名嘉宾作特邀报告,深入交流碳捕集、运输、封存利用技术创新和产业发展路径,国际经验和合作机遇,并且探讨碳市场与金融、政策法规与商业模式。
The theme of this two-day forum is “for a shared Low-carbon Future” and offers a diverse range of content including keynote presentations, invited reports, panel discussion, and sub-forums. Over 20 distinguished guests from academics, energy companies, international organizations, research institutions, and universities delivered presentations on various aspects of carbon capture, transportation, storage, and utilization technology innovation, as well as industrial development paths. The forum also served as a platform to exchange information on international experience and cooperation opportunities while discussing critical topics such as carbon markets and finance, policies and regulations, and business models, facilitating comprehensive and in-depth discussions.
全球CCUS技术发展已有40余年,尤其在CO2驱油领域取得了丰富的研究与实践经验。就整个CCUS产业而言,受限于经济成本的制约,目前仍处于商业化的早期阶段。但从技术角度看,其所涉及的各个环节,均有较为成熟的技术可以借鉴。第十四届全国人大常委会副委员长、中国科学院院士丁仲礼院士出席了论坛,他强调“发展CCUS全产业技术,是稳健推进我国绿色低碳发展的重要一环。"推动CCUS产业高质量发展,需要发挥好政府和市场"两只手"作用,一方面要明确CCUS战略定位,“推动CCUS规模化应用示范”;另一方面加快CCUS产业联盟和创新联合体,持续加强国际合作,建立健全技术标准体系。论坛期间,多位专家嘉宾,提到“开展CCUS重大项目示范”的重要性,该方向已经在中国十四五规划里明确提出。
The global CCUS technology has been in development for over four decades, with significant progress made in the field of CO2 oil drive, resulting in a wealth of research and practical experience. The CCUS industry is still in its early stages of commercialization due to economic cost constraints. However, from a technical point of view, relatively mature technologies can be used for reference in various aspects. Ding Zhongli, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the forum and stressed that “the development of CCUS industry-wide technology is crucial to promote China’s green and low-carbon development. ” To support CCUS industry to further achieve high-quality development, we need to adopt a two-pronged approach involving government and market forces. Firstly, we must clarify the strategic positioning of CCUS and promote its large-scale application demonstration. Secondly, we must accelerate CCUS industry alliances and innovation consortiums, strengthen international cooperation, and establish a sound technical standards system. During the forum, several experts mentioned the importance of “demonstration of major large-scale CCUS projects”, which has been clearly stated in the 14th Five-Year-Plan of China.
CCUS对于碳中和是不可或缺的技术,而且发展规模将快速增长。在未来5年重大CCUS项目示范规划中,国际能源合作将有前所未有的发展机遇。ECP将与CCUS行业相关国际国内伙伴紧密合作,推动中国的碳中和工作,早日实现全球碳中和目标。
CCUS is an important technology for achieving carbon neutrality, and its development scale will grow rapidly. In the next five years of major large-scale CCUS project demonstration planning, international energy cooperation will have unprecedented development opportunities. ECP is committed to working closely with relevant international and domestic partners in the CCUS industry to promote China’s carbon neutrality efforts and achieve the global carbon neutrality goal at an early date.
