面对日益严峻的气候危机挑战，应对全球气候变化已迫在眉睫。继中国提出要在2030年前实现二氧化碳排放达到峰值、到2060年实现碳中和目标之后，其他国家如日本、韩国、加拿大等国也纷纷跟进，相继公布了本国的碳中和目标实现时间表。走向碳中和，一场全球绿色低碳转型大潮正在形成。
为践行绿色新政，控制和减少温室气体排放，扭转全球气温升高的趋势，加速世界迈入更加美好的零碳时代，由国际能源署(IEA)、北京大学能源研究院、中美能源合作项目(ECP)、中国能源报主办的“国际能源署旗舰报告《全球能源行业2050净零排放路线图》发布会将于2021年6月8日在北京大学·英杰交流中心举办。届时将有来自国际能源署、国家能源局、部分国家驻华使馆、中外能源企业以及媒体的专家和代表参会，会上将发布《全球能源行业2050净零排放路线图》并邀请国内外能源专家就全球碳达峰、碳中和等话题进行深入探讨。
Facing the increasingly severe challenges of climate crisis, it is urgent to deal with global climate change. After China proposed to achieve the peak carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and the carbon neutralization target by 2060, other countries, such as Japan, South Korea, Canada, have followed up, and announced their own carbon neutralization target realization schedule. Towards carbon neutralization, a global trend of green and low carbon transition is forming.
In order to implement the new green policy,control and reduce green house gas emissions, reverse the trend of global temperature rise, accelerate the world to a better zero carbon era, the International Energy Agency (IEA), Institute of Energy of Peking University(IEPKU)，US-China Energy Cooperation program (ECP) and China Energy News will co-host “The Launch of Net Zero by 2050: A Roadmapfor the Global Energy Sector” at Peking University on June 8,2021. Experts and representatives from International Energy Agency (IEA), National Energy Administration(NEA), embassies in China, Chinese and international energy enterprises and medias will attend the meeting. ”Net Zero by 2050: A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector” will be issued and domestic and international energy experts will be invited to have the discussion on the global carbon peak, carbon neutralization and other topics.
