作为中美能源和环境十年合作框架下展开能效务实合作的平台，中美能效论坛将于2016年10月13日在北京国宾酒店举行第七届会议。论坛由中国国家发展和改革委员会与美国能源部联合主办。
本届论坛采取闭门会议形式，仅限邀请嘉宾出席。上午召开开幕式及全体会议，并举行合作项目签约仪式。下午召开分论坛，包括建筑能效、工业能效、节能市场化机制、能效标准、能源管理体系和电力需求侧管理等六个主题。届时，来自于中美双方政府、科研机构、行业协会、企业、金融机构及服务机构等多方将围绕新形势下中美能效领域如何展开务实合作进行交流探讨。
中美能源合作项目（ECP）作为美国能源部的密切合作伙伴，从2010年第一届会议就开始深度参与并支持该项活动。今年，ECP将于上午和中国标准化研究院就中美清洁能源与能效、环保等方向的标准合作签署战略合作谅解备忘录。并在下午多个分论坛中邀请其成员公司作为演讲嘉宾和所有与会嘉宾分享其最佳实践。作为中美能效领域倡导企业领导力和商业合作的平台，ECP必将为此次论坛的胜利召开做出重要贡献。
据悉，在论坛期间，ECP还将组织多场闭门会议，与美国能源部高级官员及美国劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室的专家展开对接活动。
Background:
On November 17, 2009, President Barack Obama and President Hu Jintao announced the launch of a package of measures to strengthen cooperation between the U.S. and China on clean energy. Included in this package was the Energy Efficiency Action Plan, a new area of cooperation through the U.S.-China Framework for the Ten Year Cooperation on Energy and Environment (TYF). Under this new plan, the two countries agreed to work together to improve the energy efficiency of buildings, industrial facilities, and consumer appliances. U.S. and Chinese officials agreed to work together and with the private sector to develop energy efficient building codes and rating systems, benchmark industrial energy efficiency, train building inspectors and energy efficiency auditors for industrial facilities, harmonize test procedures and performance metrics for energy efficient consumer products, exchange best practices in energy efficient labeling systems, and convene a new U.S.-China Energy Efficiency Forum to be held annually, rotating between the two countries.
