TDA Project Kickoff

On May 24, commissioned by the US Trade and Development Agency and the China Center for Urban Development, ECP, as a technical support unit in China, selected regional cities from eight key provinces and organized the “US-China City Energy Cooperation Kickoff Meeting”. The meeting was held in Zhongshang Building, co-organized by the the China Center for Urban Development, China International Cities Development Alliance, ECP, and supported by the US Trade and Development Agency. Liu Yue, deputy director of the International Cooperation Department of the China Center for Urban Development, hosted the seminar. Acting Director of the US Trade and Development Agency, Enoh T. Ebong, and Mr. Wu Xiaogang, Deputy Director of the China Urban Reform and Development Center made the opening speeches.

At the meeting, city representatives from Putian, Binhai New Area and Nantong City and business representatives from Caterpillar, NuCloud and Johnson Controls made speeches respectively.

At the Q & A session, representatives of the two sides, through financial and management resources sharing, technical exchanges, international advanced case experience sharing, participated in supporting the development and construction of the relevant cities in the selected provinces. Finally, the US Trade and Development Agency East District project management director Wen Kaishi made the closing speech, expecting fruitful results from the next workshop.
