9月26日,为推动中美省州及能源绿色转型合作,由中国对外承包工程商会、中美能源合作项目(ECP)和中国美国商会西南办公室联合主办,东方电气集团承办的中美能源绿色转型合作交流座谈会在成都成功举办。
ECP组织邀请艾默生、贝克休斯、伊顿电气、雪佛龙等能源技术公司参加并做了技术分享交流。
来自江苏、山东、四川、福建等中美省州经贸合作机制中方成员省市商务厅局代表和地方企业、中美能源行业领军企业共计80余位代表参会了本次会议。承包商会辛修明副会长、东方电气集团副总经理孙国君、江苏省商务厅副厅长孙津出席会议并发表致辞,承包商会苏建国副秘书长和中美能源合作项目马莉执行主任共同主持会议。
与会美方代表围绕能源转型和低碳发展新趋势做了经验分享,中国电力能源企业代表就海外清洁能源项目展示与经验分享,分析中美经贸关系面临的机遇和挑战,探讨务实合作商机,并进行现场对接。
会上,来自地方商务厅/商务局和开发园区的代表中国美国商会西南区分会代表介绍了分别介绍地方的专业优势及合作需求;中国美国商会西南区分会代表介绍了中美企业相关交流促进活动的开展情况,并表达未来愿继续助力中美两国能源企业深化合作,推动双方在能源领域的共同发展。
9月26日下午,承包商会与ECP一同组织地方省市商务厅代表、中美双方参会企业代表参观东方电气科技展厅并赴东方氢能产业园实地考察。
承包商会是ECP多年的合作伙伴,并作为中美省州经贸合作机制中方秘书处之一,在商务部美大司的指导下,将继续和ECP一起发挥好桥梁纽带作用,通过为相关省市企业、会员企业和美国企业搭建交流合作平台,务实推动合作项目落地,为两国企业共同推动全球能源行业的绿色转型和可持续发展做出贡献。
本次活动是中国省与美国各州市经贸合作机制项下的年度重点活动,通过座谈交流以及项目实地考察调研,中美省州合作机制中方成员省市地方商务厅局、相关省市企业以及承包商会会员企业围绕能源转型业务、技术、经验进行了充分的交流活动,实现了预定目标。
U.S.-China Green Energy Transition Cooperation Forum and Research Successfully Held in Chengdu
On September 26, to promote green energy transition
cooperation between Chinese and U.S. states and provinces, the China
International Contractors Association (CHINCA), the U.S.-China Energy
Cooperation Program (ECP), and the American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest
China jointly organized the “U.S.-China
Green Energy Transition Cooperation Forum” in Chengdu, with Dongfang
Electric Corporation hosting the event. ECP invited energy technology companies
such as Emerson, Baker Hughes, Eaton, and Chevron to participate and share
insights.
Over 80 representatives attended, including members from
commercial departments of Chinese provinces and municipalities within the
U.S.-China provincial economic and trade cooperation mechanism, such as
Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, and Fujian, along with leading enterprises from
both countries’ energy sectors. Attendees included Xin Xiuming, Vice Chairman
of CHINCA; Sun Guojun, Senior Vice President of Dongfang Electric Corporation;
and Sun Jin, Deputy Director-General of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce,
all of whom delivered opening remarks. Su Jianguo, Deputy Secretary General of
CHINCA, and Ma Li, Executive Director of the ECP, co-moderated the event.
Representatives from U.S. companies, shared insights on
emerging trends in energy transition and low-carbon development.
Representatives from Chinese power and energy companies presented overseas
clean energy projects, shared their experiences, analyzed opportunities and
challenges in U.S.-China economic and trade relations, explored potential areas
for pragmatic cooperation, and engaged in on-site networking.
Representatives from local commerce departments, development
zones, and the AmCham China Southwest Chapter introduced their regional
expertise and cooperation needs. The Southwest Chapter also highlighted its
efforts in facilitating exchanges between U.S. and Chinese companies and
expressed continued support for advancing bilateral cooperation in the energy
sector.
On the afternoon of September 26, CHINCA and ECP organized a
site visit for delegates from subnational commerce departments and
participating companies to Dongfang Electric’s technology showroom and DEC Hydrogen Energy Industrial
Park for an on-site inspection.
CHINCA has long been a partner of ECP, serving as the
Chinese secretariat for the U.S.-China provincial trade and economic
cooperation mechanism under the guidance of the Department of American and
Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce. CHINCA will continue to work with
ECP to serve as a bridge, providing a platform for exchanges and cooperation
between Chinese subnational enterprises, member companies, and U.S.
enterprises, with the aim of promoting cooperative projects and contributing to
the green transition and sustainable development of the global energy sector.
