中美能源合作项目（ECP）
会议背景及关注领域
中国拥有世界上最多的城市数量，中国每年有2000万人口涌入城市，造就中国的城镇化发展迅速。ECP和成员公司已经参与跟踪支持城市合作机会很多年，为了更好地促进中美企业在这些城市里的务实商务合作、技术交流和项目合作，美国贸易发展署和国家发展改革委城市和小城镇改革发展中心于2017年3月31日签署一个“中美能源合作城市系列研讨会”合作协议，目的是为了支持参与中国城市发展，并通过实在的城市商业示范项目推广可操作、可持续、可复制的商业模式，涉及领域涵盖城市规划、技术示范、战略合作、项目投融资和能力建设等。2017年4月24日，ECP作为该城市系列研讨会项目的执行合作伙伴正式启动该项目。合作方会优选合适的区域和城市组织研讨会，努力为中美之间的合作对话创造平台与机会，也通过研讨会活动为城市和中美优秀企业之间架起合作的桥梁。
美国企业拥有世界顶级的先进绿色低碳环保技术,在技术研发、产品应用和商业项目合作方面拥有丰富积累与经验。中美能源合作项目及成员公司企业及伙伴希望能积极与陕西省及西安市的合作伙伴一起开展务实合作。

Background
China has the largest size and number of cities inthe world. With 20 million people entering cities every year, cities in Chinaare developing rapidly. US industry including many ECP member companies havebeen closely following up the city related initiative for years. In order tobetter support US business development and scale up industry cooperation inthese Chinese cities, on March 31 of 2017, US Trade Development Agency (USTDA) and China Center for Urban Development (CCUD) signed an “Energy Cooperation Program Workshop Series in China” cooperation program and aims to promote operable, sustainable, replicable business models for the Chinese cities development through the demonstration of live commercial city projects, coveredareas including urban planning, technology demonstration, strategic enterprises, project investment and financing, and capacity building. On April 24 of 2017, ECP was selected as the technical supporting agency and the official program contractor for this city workshop series program. ECP is willing to work with related partners to carefully select and organize city workshops in selected regions/cities and try to create an important bilateral cooperation platform to make the dialogues and cooperation between industry players and Chinese cities through city workshop series program. ECP and members companies hope to participate and support Xi’an city development andhave more cooperation success in this region by demonstrating US advanced lowcarbon technologies, environment friendly products and sharing businessshowcases and management experience.
