6月21日，中美能源合作项目（ECP）、中国机电产品进出口商会绿色低碳国际合作委员会联合必维认证团队成功举办了“碳”索未来线上培训沙龙，来自美孚、康菲石油、艾默生、霍尼韦尔、塞拉尼斯、陶氏化学、通用汽车、阿美石油、东方电气集团、中国航油、中石化炼化工程集团等国内外石化能源企业的70余人参加了此次活动。
本次培训邀请了必维认证业务团队的专家，分享了企业如何按照国际标准如何从企业角度和产品角度开展落实双碳工作，并就《中国石油化工企业温室气体排放核算方法与报告指南（试行）》进行了深度解读，梳理了最新绿色低碳发展理念和分享了企业最新的一些践行绿色低碳的实践案例，为企业特别是石化行业的企业实现碳中和提供了参考和启发。同时还特邀了山东东营港经济开发区投资促进局和福建漳州古雷港经济发展局的代表介绍了各自园区的情况并分享了在石化领域的经验和需求。专家与线上观众共同探讨了企业，特别是石化行业，如何才能减少对气候的影响，从而真正实现碳中和的目标。
能源石化行业是支撑国民经济发展的基础性产业，也是二氧化碳排放量较大的行业之一。面对日益严峻的节能减排和碳中和大趋势，关注并了解国内外低碳发展趋势、抓住机遇、节能降耗对于每个企业，都任重道远。ECP将继续和会员企业及合作伙伴联手，设计更多更优质的培训沙龙课程，在清洁低碳转型的路上尽我们的微薄之力。

“Carbon” for the Future – A Training Salon on
Opportunities and Development in a Dual Carbon was successfully held
On June 21st, the US-China Energy Cooperation Program (ECP), the
Green & Low-Carbon International Cooperation Committee of the China Chamber
of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME),
and the Bureau Veritas Certification Team successfully co-organized an virtual
training workshop topic on “Carbon” for the Future. The event
was attended by over 70 participants from ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Emerson,
Honeywell, Celanese, GM, Bunge, Green Points, Dow, Aramco Asia, DONGFANG
Electric, China National Aviation Fuel Group and SINOPEC Engineering Group
and etc.
This training workshop invited experts from Bureau Veritas’
certification business team to share how companies can achieve the dual carbon
goals from both a corporate perspective and a product perspective, in
accordance with international standards. The training workshop also provided an
in-depth interpretation of the “Greenhouse Gas Emissions Accounting
Methodology and Reporting Guidelines for China’s Petrochemical Enterprises
(Trial)”, sorted out the latest green low-carbon development concepts and
shared some of the latest practical cases of enterprises practicing green and
low-carbon standards, which provides reference and inspiration for enterprises,
especially those in the energy and petrochemical industry, to achieve carbon
neutrality goal. Representatives from Dongying Port Economic Development Zone
in Shandong/Dongying and Gulei Port Economic Development Bureau in Fujian/Zhangzhou
were invited to present the situation, the experience, and the needs when they
try to achieve carbon neutrality. Experts
and the audiences discussed how companies combat climate change and thus truly
achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.
The energy and petrochemical industry play a fundamental role to
support the development of the national economy as well as one of the highest
CO2 emissions industries. In the face of the increasingly need for achieving carbon
neutrality, it is important for each enterprise to pay attention to and
understand the global trend of low carbon development, and to seize the business
opportunities under the dual carbon context. ECP will continue to work with member companies and partners to design
more and better training salon courses to do our part in the clean and
low-carbon transition mission.
