Green Power, Green Certificate & Carbon Trade International Recognition Seminar
AI & RE Collaborating to Support Green Energy and Power Development
On October 22, the AI & RE seminar, part of the Green Power, Green Certificate, and Carbon Trade International Recognition series, was successfully held in Beijing, co-hosted by ECP and iGDP. This event received strong support from the Beijing Office of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce and the Administrative Committee of Yihe New District, Linyi City.
ECP and its member companies launched the international recognition seminar series for green power and carbon trading in 2023, making this the third event in the series. Representatives from nearly 50 institutions and companies attended, including the National Energy Administration, the Information and Data Center China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, Hunton Andrews Kurth, S&P Commodity Insights, SinoCarbon, VNET Group, Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce’s Beijing office, Administrative Committee of Yihe New District, Illinois China Office, China Energy Huachen Holding Group, Aliyun, ConocoPhillips China, IBM, ExxonMobil, Baker Hughes, Emerson, Microsoft, Albemarle, Mitsubishi, Shandong Energy Group, Lukong Water Group, Nanshan Group, Global Data Solutions, Glory Data Group, and Princeton Digital Group, totaling over sixty representatives.
During the speech session, Mr. Yumin Yang, ECP Board Co-Chair and Vice President of ConocoPhillips China, stated that green power, green certificate, and carbon trading are crucial components of the domestic green and low-carbon energy market. This event aims to help foreign member companies and their Chinese partners understand China’s green power, green certificate, and carbon trading markets, promoting low-carbon green energy development and enhancing opportunities for cooperation in clean energy and carbon markets between China and the U.S.
The keynote presentations include policy sharing and industrial sharing by invited experts.
