On October 26, 2025, ECP once again joined hands with the China Overseas Development Association, the Beijing Marathon Association, and numerous caring enterprises and partners to successfully host the 5th Energy & Charity Run at Beijing’s Wenyu River Park. Over 200 participants from the National Energy Administration, the Gansu Provincial Representative Office in Beijing, UN agencies and embassies in China, the National Energy Shale Gas R&D (Experimental) Center, China Energy Investment Corporation, Cheniere Energy, ConocoPhillips China, Baker Hughes, Shell, HyperStrong, and other organizations took part in this meaningful event that combined health, community, and charity.

Mr. Yang Yumin, Co-Chair of the ECP Board, expressed in his remarks that, as a five-year participant, he deeply cherishes this annual event that brings together colleagues, friends, and families. He noted that the active participation of so many reflects not only the event’s status as a healthy annual gathering but also its role in spreading compassion and social responsibility.

This year’s run continued the charitable mission of “promoting rural revitalization through energy and environmental protection,” raised RMB 33,400 to support the “Baituo Village Streetlight Renovation Project” in Gansu Province. Over the past five years, the Charity Run has evolved into a recognized annual brand event within the energy sector. With efforts to minimize material consumption and uphold green practices, all proceeds are dedicated to rural development and educational initiatives. Through continuous commitment, the organizers, partners, and participants have deeply embraced the concept of “Energy, Environment, Health, and Charity.” More and more professionals from the energy and environmental sectors continue to contribute to green and low-carbon development—spreading love, responsibility, and hope.
